I was inspired to make this recipe because my grocery store recently started carrying Egglife wraps. I've seen a bunch of people on social media using them in recipes, but when I saw the ingredients and price, I thought, "I bet I can make these at home"! If you've been following me for a while now, then you know that I'm all about making the healthy homemade carnivore version of my favorite foods and dishes. So I did!

These homemade egg white wraps are super easy to make, more affordable than buying the store brand, and healthier. Egg life wraps contain egg whites, xanthan gum, natural flavor, salt, and nisin (preservative). This recipe only has 3 ingredients and no preservatives. Just organic free range egg whites, beef gelatin powder, and sea salt! You can feel good about feeding your family this recipe.

Egg White Wraps

Ingredients

  • 8 egg whites

  • 2 tbsp beef gelatin powder

  • sea salt to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat an 8–10" non-stick frying pan or crepe pan over medium-low heat. Add a small amount of butter or tallow to lightly coat the surface.

  2. In a food processor, combine the egg whites, beef gelatin powder, and salt. Pulse until the mixture is well blended and slightly foamy.

  3. Pour a portion of the egg white mixture into the heated pan, swirling gently to coat the bottom and sides evenly.

  4. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 1–2 minutes until set.

  5. Transfer the wrap to a cutting board or plate to cool. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

  6. Store finished wraps in the refrigerator.

Yield: Approximately 4 wraps, depending on the size of each.
